I haven't been updating this site nor the blog... I simply haven't been inspired to do so nor feel that anyone would take notice or even care.

That being said I came across this video posted by John Free about a tramp that had carried a print for 27 years.

I watched, and re-watched this video a few times now. Each time I am taken back, and left with no words.

Not that I am trying to seek validation for what I do in my own work... but the fact that Mr. Free could and in such a way blows my mind.

I hope you take the time yourself to watch it...

Yesterday I had the opportunity to display a few pieces at a local Film Festival. I wasn't sure what I was getting in to when approached, but agreed to it... After all what did I have to lose? Goes without saying I am glad I went. The films were great along side the hand selected art/artist in attendance. Will attend next year for sure regardless if I show or not.

Too Lazy

Too lazy to repost to Tumblr an uncensored image just shared and tethered via Instagram so here it is here...

Dirty Show 18

If in the area be sure to hit up the Dirty Show. I will have two pieces on display, and of course available for purchase at a great show price.

have no clue as to why the Twitter feed doesn't update on the right. Give it a follow all the same please, and thank you.

Virtually goes without saying that I was very much taken aback when I first came across an article about a man stumbling on to a blog showing literally a day in a life up until that life ended. It is still difficult for me to process it. Process what I am wanting it to mean as opposed to what it means if anything. Especially considering today marks the beginning of my fifth year of shooting an instant film image daily. At first it was to do something creative, it was a project I wanted to do with a friend... I completed the first year, and thought why not keep going? It had its ups and down and more than enough bad images taken just to check the box in order to keep pace. However there was some pretty decent shots as well, so I kept going. I must admit those feelings of throwing in the towel become more and more frequent all the way to asking myself what is the point of it. Does there need to be one, does it have to have a meaning... is that some Millennial Hipster nonsense? Now I go back to the blog of this man... Countless times I have typed and erased what I am trying to say here. I guess... maybe if you take a peak you too can understand.

Jamie Livingston

Thoughts today...

While searching online for another article that I wanted to share ahead of my launching my Instant Project... I came across this post from Ted Forbes from The Art of Photography on why Nobody Cares about your photography.

I feel he is right, but don't miss the point...

“The world doesn’t need any more photographers. It doesn’t need anymore musicians, writers, filmmakers, artists or actors either. We have enough. Its over-saturated,” Forbes says, “BUT, the world’s survival is completely dependent on work that matters.”

not too sure why the Twitter Side Bar is not updating... Be sure to follow all the same.

DeActivated my FB

I deactivated my personal FB profile...

You have to have a personal account to be able to update any pages or groups you may admin. Needless to say my FB image page will no longer be updated for the time being.

I will be updating this blog as well other outlets such as instagram.

In the meantime here is an image I shot spur of the moment with Zenyth Gale.
